High blood sugar levels occur because glucose in the blood is unable to enter individual cells, and these cells are therefore unable to metabolize the sugar. In other words, the sugar conversion mechanisms malfunction. In a healthy body, insulin helps to biochemically process glucose once it enters the cell. First the glucose needs to be oxidized using oxygen supplied by the lungs. This process requires water vapor that comes from the kidney, and the kidney acquires its water from the cooperative action of the spleen and the stomach. The energy generated by the oxidation of glucose is delivered to the rest of the human body by the heart and the liver to deliver. In short, sugar conversion affects all human organs.
Repairing human organs in a general sense is key to resolving diabetes. Once the proper function of all organs are recovered, the sugar levels will automatically be rebalanced.
